This guide explains in a simple and clear way how to create a queue in PBXme system and how to assign a local number to it. Follow the steps and view the screenshots for a fast and easy setup.

Step 1: Go to the queue page (Queues)

In the top menu, select Inbound and then Queue.

The screen that opens will display the Queues page.

Step 2: Create a new queue

Click the Create button. Enter a Queue Name and Agent Dial Number. You can also add a Description and set a Back-Tone if you want.
To upload a recording, click INBOUND → RECORDINGS.
Refer to the Voicemail Guide for detailed instructions on uploading recordings.

Step 3: Save the queue

Once you have filled in all the details, click Save. The new queue will now appear in the Queues list.

Step 4: Go to the list of numbers (Local numbers)

In the top menu, click Add/View Numbers. This will display your list of numbers (Local Numbers).


Step 5: Referring a number to the queue

Next to the number you want to forward, click the Call Forward icon. In the Settings window (Local Numbers Destination), select the Call Type – Queue, and then select the queue you created..

Step 6: Save and confirm

Click Save. Your number is now redirected to the queue you selected and you will see it in the list of numbers..

You have finished creating a new queue and assigning a local number to it in the PBXme system.
